Emotional Awareness: Connection, Understanding & Growth

Sometimes our emotions are difficult to put into words. Horses have a unique way of helping us slow down, become more aware of what we’re feeling, and better understand how those emotions influence the way we connect with ourselves and others.

Join Ride & Shine for our Emotional Awareness class on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 8:30 AM–12:00 PM at Kluz Performance Horse, 32 Mandy Lane in Gillette.

What Is Emotional Awareness?

This interactive class uses the unique connection between horses and humans to explore emotions, communication, self-awareness, and personal growth. Horses are incredibly responsive to the people and environment around them, creating opportunities to recognize feelings and behaviors in a way that can be difficult to experience in a traditional setting.

You don’t need any previous horse experience to participate. Whether you’re looking to better understand yourself, support someone you love, or simply learn something new, this class is open to anyone.

Learn. Connect. Grow.

Throughout the morning, participants will have opportunities to explore emotional awareness in a supportive and experiential environment. The goal isn’t to have all the answers—it’s to become more curious about yourself, strengthen connections, and discover new tools for navigating emotions and relationships.

Mental health professionals also have the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Credits for an additional $30.

Registration

Registration is $25 per person, and group discounts are available upon request.
